Holiday Bible ClubBoy knight

Stories of Old is a week of excitement for children of primary school age and those about to start. Everybody is welcome for the whole week or just a day.  It allows children to be part of a club and to Princessenjoy good, fun activities in the summer holidays.

There will be games, quizzes, Bible stories, drama, art and craft, singing and fantastic games.  Stories of Old runs from Monday 10th August to Thursday 13th August at DBC, from 9:30am to 12:30pm, and includes a celebration for all the family on Friday 14th August at 7.30pm.

Charles Darwin at Downe

Charles Darwin was a resident in Downe village for 40 years: to mark his 200th birthday and 150 years since the publication of his 'Origin of the Species', Downe Baptist Church held a series of evening meetings.
